Jack's smile softened some as he thought about home. Things were different here but he did see and understand the roots of where people came from. Advances made people lazy. Technology made people appear smarter for using it. Jack wasn't buying that he was antiquated in any way. Just a little more old fashioned than most and now the oldest living resident, he enjoyed the status. "Aye. I am as genuine as you are. My life is simple and I live by the sea and shall die there as well. Though I must admit, I like this life too."

He didn't have many enemies here since he's been keeping a low profile at that. He knows he has to teach fencing to Oz which is still something solid he has in his life.
