Unbelievably, the attitude wasn't coming across as annoying to Gaara. In fact, it was utterly fascinating. Almost reminiscent of Uchiha Sasuke. The difference of course, being that Uchiha Sasuke actually had a sizable amount of chakra, and was a worthy opponent. So what gave this weakling any right to talk as though he had a drop of power? What right did he have to exist in such a defiant manner? Cold it be that he was hiding his chakra?
Without a change in his deadpan expression, Gaara crossed his arms, as he flicked his eyes up and down, across Gokudera watching, searching for any kind of explanation. Only to find nothing. No chakra meant he had to be a taijutsu user, and this one's body did not appear to be especially muscular. Tch. Nothing but a weakling after all.

"You defy me?"
