Now that they were off the subject of his height, Shinichi felt his annoyance disappear entirely and moved over to the counter.

"It heats food. But-you can't put metal or Styrofoam and certain kinds of glass in it." He explained. "Metal will break it..." He looked towards the pantry as the ramen and microwavable food were probably kept in there-aside from frozen dinners but Shinichi never did figure those out.

"I've never been good at cooking, but there are a number of instant dishes that can be fixed now. What sounds good to you?"
