It didn't matter that she asked, the answer that the other woman was a dragon came as a huge shock to her. Setting the egg back on the bed gently, she scooted back a fraction. What she'd been told of dragons were that they were monstrous beasts...not unlike her brother when he was in a mood.

This woman was different though. She seemed...nice. "I suppose I should thank you then. I'm still not quite accustomed to....non-humans, even here."
