Character Names: Hakuba Saguru (
im_in_ur_exit), Kuroba Kaito (
nofishplz) Aoko Nakamori (
abluechild), Takami Yoh (
a_damned_liar)
When: Backdated to Monday, right after arriving in Paris
Location: sixteenth district
Summary: All three boys go to get Aoko. Chaos and jealousy ensues.
Ratings: um... PG13? Just because Yoh is there :|a
Warnings: ....Yoh? Jealous boys and oblivious girl.
Aoko had finished talking to Yoh about the same time Kaito had texted her back-so she texted him back and stared at the blackberry curiously. Were they really all three going to come find her? She had assumed only one would come find her after that she'd tell the others someone else was on their way and they wouldn't have to worry. She expected it to end at that, not with 'I'm coming anyway.' Wasn't that... counter productive? Oh well, she stored the device in her pocket and sat down on the ground by her sign to wait it out. Boys were strange.
...Then a new thought hit her. Would Kaito get along with Yoh? She wasn't too worried about Hakuba, he seemed to capable of minding his manners but Kaito liked to push buttons. And she knew from experience Kaito and Hakuba didn't get along... maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

It had the small benefit that he did know that there would be company en route when he arrived.
The cab left in a merciful hurry after he got out, spotting Aoko easily; he walked over, holding up the blackberry before putting it in his pocket. "I take it we have company coming?"

"Hakuba-kun! ...that was fast." She commented on his arrival. "Um.. Yoh-kun and Kaito said they were on their way even if I told them you were already on your way... they both wanted to come anyway... even though it seems like a waste of time to me.." She thought over the conversations again and still couldn't make sense of either of them. "...I guess their both just weird."

"You don't mind waiting though? I don't think Yoh-kun will take much longer, I talked to him almost immediately after I talked to you."

"Oi! Aoko!" Kaito rounded the corner about this point, running over to the group, he noted with some hidden irritation that the new person was holding hands with Aoko. Openly he regarded the new guy with guarded curiosity as he stopped in front of Aoko.
"So, is this that Yoh guy you told me about?" He asked her.

Even if he didn't seem openly in a bad mood, Aoko was his best friend and she could tell just by the question he wasn't happy. It was probably because he was in close vicinity with Hakuba again. Why couldn't they just get along? Stupid boys.
"Kaito!" She greeted him happily anyway, her hand slipping away from Yoh's in her excitement at seeing the magician. "Mmhm, This is Yoh-kun. Yoh-kun, this is Kaito... he thinks he's a magician." She poked Kaito's cheek because, yes, she was baiting him. Aoko was just as bad as Kaito when it came to that sort of thing. "He's in a bad mood though, it seems."

Of course watching Kaito and Yoh didn't really say much...although he knew the poker face trick and if Yoh was already territorial, he was going to guess he was getting to see it in stereo.
"Well, we can't exactly stay out on a street corner like this all day - Aoko?", and he moved the subject back to Yoh's earlier question to her.
no subject
"Um... I guess we should probably get something to eat?" And then she could figure out what to do from there as far as sight seeing went... but was it really a good idea to hang out with all three of them at the same time?

Yes he is ignoring Yoh too. See how he likes that.

"Um... maybe something outside?" She tried, not really sure what to do about Kaito's obvious bad mood and Yoh's... whatever he was doing.

"Outside? When it's raining?" Kaito deadpanned. "Now there's a good idea." Of course he knew they had awnings and umbrellas for that and that the rain was pretty light, but he still felt the need to poke at her for suggesting it.
no subject
No reason to actually show any of that, however.
"Most of the open-air restaurants are built with umbrellas and awnings for days like this; it'd kill too much of their business if they couldn't adapt to a little rain."
no subject
"Sh-Shut up Kaito!" She shouted at him. "Maybe if someone wasn't in such an obvious bad mood I would have noticed! Hmph!" At that she stuck her tongue out at him and turned her nose up, muttering something about 'baKaito' being Stupid.

He wasn't about to let her forget that either.
"But, whatever. I don't have a problem with it."
no subject
Well, they weren't openly fighting.
Yet.
"Alright... well, one of the hotels just around the corner has an open-air restaurant area; old local place, we could go there?"
Please, please, let food distract Kaito and Aoko before they got going.
no subject
"Why do you have to be such a grouch!? It's really annoying!"

Then he looked over at Hakuba. "Eh. Sounds good I guess. Let's go."
Just because he was still arguing with Aoko didn't mean they shouldn't get moving.
no subject
At least they could argue and still keep moving.
"Best not to get in the middle - they'll get over it in a minute."
no subject
"Stop trying to fool everyone, baKaito, Everyone can see you're sulking."
