(no subject)

Character Names: Hakuba Saguru ([livejournal.com profile] im_in_ur_exit), Kuroba Kaito ([livejournal.com profile] nofishplz) Aoko Nakamori ([livejournal.com profile] abluechild), Takami Yoh ([livejournal.com profile] a_damned_liar)
When: Backdated to Monday, right after arriving in Paris
Location: sixteenth district
Summary: All three boys go to get Aoko. Chaos and jealousy ensues.
Ratings: um... PG13? Just because Yoh is there :|a
Warnings: ....Yoh? Jealous boys and oblivious girl.

Aoko had finished talking to Yoh about the same time Kaito had texted her back-so she texted him back and stared at the blackberry curiously. Were they really all three going to come find her? She had assumed only one would come find her after that she'd tell the others someone else was on their way and they wouldn't have to worry. She expected it to end at that, not with 'I'm coming anyway.' Wasn't that... counter productive? Oh well, she stored the device in her pocket and sat down on the ground by her sign to wait it out. Boys were strange.

...Then a new thought hit her. Would Kaito get along with Yoh? She wasn't too worried about Hakuba, he seemed to capable of minding his manners but Kaito liked to push buttons. And she knew from experience Kaito and Hakuba didn't get along... maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

Yoh was ignoring the cranky magician with the aim of furthering the latter's foul mood. Yoh gave an affirmative nod. He really didn't care either way. "Alright."

Kaito snorted derisively at both Aoko and Hakuba's comments. He wasn't surprised at Hakuba picking up on what was happening and Aoko not noticing at all. There was also a small problem with Aoko's suggestion.

"Outside? When it's raining?" Kaito deadpanned. "Now there's a good idea." Of course he knew they had awnings and umbrellas for that and that the rain was pretty light, but he still felt the need to poke at her for suggesting it.

Oh for the love of. You'd think that people who were that fussy about being jealous about Aoko would at least have the decency to not start fights around her that would probably end up upsetting her.

No reason to actually show any of that, however.

"Most of the open-air restaurants are built with umbrellas and awnings for days like this; it'd kill too much of their business if they couldn't adapt to a little rain."

"Between awnings and umbrellas," Yoh shrugged, "it'll be fine." Not that he cared at all. He was just happy not to be cooking (and not to be in prison, even if he always had enough cast-points to eat like a king.)

"Who's in a bad mood?" Kaito retorted. "You're the one who needs to learn to pay more attention to things."

He wasn't about to let her forget that either.

"But, whatever. I don't have a problem with it."

At least there was some kind of ...
Well, they weren't openly fighting.

Yet.

"Alright... well, one of the hotels just around the corner has an open-air restaurant area; old local place, we could go there?"

Please, please, let food distract Kaito and Aoko before they got going.

"Maybe something upset him," Yoh said helpfully. "Can't imagine what, though." He gave Kaito a look over Aoko's head, he didn't like how Kaito treated Aoko. Clearly he didn't appreciate her.

"I said I'm not being a grouch." Kaito replied, again completely ignoring Yoh.

Then he looked over at Hakuba. "Eh. Sounds good I guess. Let's go."

Just because he was still arguing with Aoko didn't mean they shouldn't get moving.

He did move to lead the way, although he minded it to be hanging closer to Yoh than before; he knew this song and dance well enough, and what his initial reaction had been.

At least they could argue and still keep moving.

"Best not to get in the middle - they'll get over it in a minute."

Yoh knew why. Because Hakuba liked Aoko too. He was another competitor. He shrugged at her.
