Rum and Wine
Character Names: Jack Sparrow and Lucy Saxton
When: Backdated to Tuesday evening
Location: The dining room
Summary: Jack promised Lucy that he would make her dinner and he wants to get to know her a little better.
Rating: PG-13 for starters.
Warnings: Innuendo and double entendre.
Jack was busy preparing the meal that he promised to make Lucy which consisted of slow cooked pot roast, carrots, mashed potatoes and brown gravy along with dinner rolls. He had to look at a recipe book of course but he didn't leave anything to chance.
Backing the pie was a little trickier and decided to go with a key lime that he could simply defrost. He was good, but not that good. Maybe if the captain had a little more time, he could get it done but he wasn't going to experiment with something that he didn't quite understand just yet. After all, he was looking to impress Lucy, not poison her with something awful.
Jack had set out the fine tableware and picked out the best wine that he knew of from the cellar below. Placing the bottle in the center between the two place sets, it was time to make the plates before lighting the candles. Artificial light seemed too overbearing to his eyes. This not only created a warm atmosphere, it certainly marked a romantic one.

Something her husband had always been good at was making her look her best, it was part of her role to be as appealing as possible on his arm and he'd always done a very good job by buying her the perfect outfits.
She put a little make-up on and let her hair hang loose, spraying herself with a sweet perfume before checking herself in the mirror one last time, then heading off to meet Jack.
She wasn't sure why she was making such an effort, she just knew she liked Jack, and it had been a long time since she'd had dinner with someone.
Lucy knocked before entering the dining room, hovering in the doorway.
