The tree twinkles, a light snow falls outside, buffet tables have appeared in the dining room, covered in food. At 6:30 PM characters suddenly find themselves in formal clothing, suits, dresses, tuxes, even gowns. In entry hall a sparkly confetti snow is falling. It's not real, but it does get everywhere. Christmas music filters through the house from unseen speakers. A fire crackles in the parlor's new fireplace. There are hot drinks to be had for all. The bottom floor looks like a Christmas card, or, really, a Christmas special.

[The theme is storybook romance. The gym is decked out with appropriate decorations: twinkle lights, trellises choked with blooming roses, the smell of which casts an intoxicating glamor on the dim atmosphere... or at least tries to. In one corner, a faceless DJ plays any hit from the 1980s to 2010. In another corner, a long table serves refreshments. Other features abound, but you might be alarmed to notice the only doorway that opens leads to a windowless bathroom.

ooc: As a wise man once said, you can check-out any time you like but you can never leave. That is, once the clock strikes 8, any door your character walks through will empty into the gym, and they will not be able to get out until the wee hours of the morn. Enjoy!
