Each class is going to have a log. Please only respond to people who are in your class. The first poster should put their class (either A or B) in the subject line.

[Text books are waiting for them at their desks, each of which is marked with their names written out in Roman characters. On the board are written the words "to run" "to walk" "to dance" "to be" "to do" "to like" and beneath this last are listed several typical textbook activities: "to go on trips" "write" "art; to do/to make" "to hike" "to play; sports/music"

On the white board is another lesson marked "favorites" in both English and broken Japanese along with a bulleted list requesting your favorite animal, food, place, thing to do, and subject in school.]

[Touya enters and reads over the board. He knows most of the words and phrases written already. He recognizes his name written on the desk's place card, distinctly annoyed by how patronizing the classroom's tone is. He knows English far better than this teacher knows Japanese, that's for sure. He sits down at the desk that is far too small for him, stretching out his legs as far as he can, and waits for class to begin.]

[Not too far away, Aoko doesn't look at all pleased with having to take English. She's never been good at it and now Hakuba-kun and Kaito aren't even around to help her so she'll have to do it all on her own-crap. Well... maybe there's something in the text books?]

[Touya turns to look at her as she enters, then goes back to flipping through his textbook. He nods in way of greeting]

[Sorry, she didn't notice that- she's busy trying to remember what certain words in English mean and pretty much panicking about it.]

[Touya sees her anxiety and feels bad for her. He gives her a small smile and calls out to her]

Aoko?

[he read her name off the desk]

[Wait... what does that even mean!? Where was Hakuba-kun? He was from England, English was his first language and now he wasn't here-wait didn't that mean-Oh. Someone called her name.]

Eh?

Aoko.

[When she's paying attention, he points to her name on the desk to indicate where he got it from]

Are you alright?

Oh.. y-yeah.. I'm okay.. I'm just-just not very good with English...

[She just looks a little sheepish]

[Touya gives her a smile. She reminds him of Sakura in her enthusiasm and her absent mindedness.]

Do you want help?

...If you don't mind..

I don't.

[He gestures for her to sit down next to him]

Pull your desk over.

Thank you..

[and she scoots her desk over a little]

Mm.

[He opens up the text book and his notebook.]

What do you need help with?

Oh um.. j-just most of it.

[He chuckles. He misses his sister so much, and Aoko is reminding him of her.]

Where do you want to start.

I-I guess at the beginning...

[Touya opens the book]

Okay, let's see. Greetings? Favorites? Families?

Um.. Favorites... I guess.

[Touya flips to the page and points to a group of pictures with the English words written underneath them.]

[Then in heavily accented English]

[Hatori looks a little awkward as he steps in a litte later than the others, but when he looks at the white board his brows raise in a moment of disbelief. He wasn't bad at it per sé..he..just really wasn't seeing the point of this entire thing.]

...Yare yare..

A-ano...

[she tries to think about English pronunciations. When she finally speaks it's also in heavily accented English]

C-Clean...?

((OOC: I just squeed thinking about Aoko going "Crean"))

[Touya wonders whether she got that right. He clarifies the word in Japanese]

You like to clean?

Mmhm... S-so does that mean I got it right?

Yeah, you did.

[He's never met anyone who LIKES to clean]
