CHRISTMAS.
Character Names: OPEN, OPEN, OPEN.
When: All of Christmas week
Location: Under the tree in the parlor
Summary: It's Christmas, and everyone has presents to open. No, you won't get coal.
Ratings: ...G? PG? We're opening presents, for God's sake.
Warnings: Gift rap, choking hazards for children under 3.
[The tree in the parlor is massive. Its prickly branches stretch outwards and are weighed down with bright ornaments; the star at the top nearly touches the ceiling. In the fireplace nearby, a fire crackles warm and orange. Outside the window, there is snow. It's a perfect Christmas scene. And on the rug, under the tree? Those are your presents.]

Re: WEDNESDAY
Re: WEDNESDAY
By the looks of things, you got some interesting ones.
[And then he sees the condoms and laughs.]
Having fun aren't we?
Re: WEDNESDAY
Not enough, I suppose. She must want me to do more.
Re: WEDNESDAY
Re: WEDNESDAY
I don't have a game.
Re: WEDNESDAY
[Not that it would matter to Gene anyway. The fact remained, this wasn't going up on the network post and he was treating this as off the record mostly because this isn't an interview.]
Well, neither do I but that kinda comes with the territory of being married to. What is it about people that once they get married the romance stops? They could be passionate but once that ring goes on the finger....it's like....everything screeches to a halt.
[He leisurely rummages through his stocking and comes across a calculator.]
I really don't need one of these. [Gene chuckles.]
Re: WEDNESDAY
I'm not married.
[His eyes fall on the calculator.]
Do these "Christmas stockings" usually hold boring little gifts?
Re: WEDNESDAY
[He moves to gather up his gifts which one's from Light, the other from the Author.]
It kinda makes me a little reluctant to open it.
Re: WEDNESDAY
The Author's gift?
Re: WEDNESDAY
Re: WEDNESDAY
I don't see why Americans insist upon giving each other presents on Christmas, anyway.
[He finishes unwrapping and opens the box. A shining black spiked collar and matching leash are curled up inside.]
Re: WEDNESDAY
[He peers over to look at the gift and his brow lifts.]
That's....interesting. A little kinky but hey...it's nice at least.
[Gene moves to open his from the Author and lets out a disgruntled sigh.]
Yay...a desk set. I have about three of these already.
Re: WEDNESDAY
These aren't so much gifts as requests. She is giving us the tools for what she wants to see us do as a request to do them.
Re: WEDNESDAY
[tries thinking of which project would be best first....]
Re: WEDNESDAY
Re: WEDNESDAY
I keep forgetting to replace mine that broke. I should thank him for replacing it and I didn't have to ask.
Re: WEDNESDAY
Did he break it?
Re: WEDNESDAY
[Gene gave an easy smile even though he was a little more than impressed that someone would give him a practical gift.]
