CHRISTMAS.

Character Names: OPEN, OPEN, OPEN.
When: All of Christmas week
Location: Under the tree in the parlor
Summary: It's Christmas, and everyone has presents to open. No, you won't get coal.
Ratings: ...G? PG? We're opening presents, for God's sake.
Warnings: Gift rap, choking hazards for children under 3.

[The tree in the parlor is massive. Its prickly branches stretch outwards and are weighed down with bright ornaments; the star at the top nearly touches the ceiling. In the fireplace nearby, a fire crackles warm and orange. Outside the window, there is snow. It's a perfect Christmas scene. And on the rug, under the tree? Those are your presents.]

[Soubi is also looking somewhat amused by the contents of his stocking, a few feet away. Strawberry-flavored condoms and a collection of lollipops.]

[Gene looks over and chuckles.]

By the looks of things, you got some interesting ones.

[And then he sees the condoms and laughs.]

Having fun aren't we?

[He smirks.]

Not enough, I suppose. She must want me to do more.

Oh? Judging by those condoms and things, I'd say a lot more. What's your game?

[He's busy examining the label on the condoms. Hm, they're ribbed, too.]

I don't have a game.

Oh.

[Not that it would matter to Gene anyway. The fact remained, this wasn't going up on the network post and he was treating this as off the record mostly because this isn't an interview.]

Well, neither do I but that kinda comes with the territory of being married to. What is it about people that once they get married the romance stops? They could be passionate but once that ring goes on the finger....it's like....everything screeches to a halt.

[He leisurely rummages through his stocking and comes across a calculator.]

I really don't need one of these. [Gene chuckles.]

[He raises an eyebrow.]

I'm not married.

[His eyes fall on the calculator.]

Do these "Christmas stockings" usually hold boring little gifts?

Re: WEDNESDAY

It's mostly crap that hold no meaning or value that's only fleeting or less than worthy to wrap up like a chocolate bar or other useless item.

[He moves to gather up his gifts which one's from Light, the other from the Author.]

It kinda makes me a little reluctant to open it.

Re: WEDNESDAY

[identity profile] pinnd-buttrfly.livejournal.com 2010-12-24 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[He looks curiously at it.]

The Author's gift?

Re: WEDNESDAY

[identity profile] eugene-watson.livejournal.com 2010-12-25 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. The one from Light is a bit too small to be a calculator and the one from the Author has me a bit worried. Have you opened yours yet?

[He shakes his head, and then turns to his small pile of gifts. He picks up the one wrapped in blue, snowflake-covered paper with a card reading "from the Author! <3" on it. He examines it with his eyes and hands before unwrapping it.]

I don't see why Americans insist upon giving each other presents on Christmas, anyway.

[He finishes unwrapping and opens the box. A shining black spiked collar and matching leash are curled up inside.]

I think it has something to do with tradition and some other mess along those lines.

[He peers over to look at the gift and his brow lifts.]

That's....interesting. A little kinky but hey...it's nice at least.

[Gene moves to open his from the Author and lets out a disgruntled sigh.]

Yay...a desk set. I have about three of these already.

[He smirking at his gift.]

These aren't so much gifts as requests. She is giving us the tools for what she wants to see us do as a request to do them.

I think you're right.

[tries thinking of which project would be best first....]

[He shrugs and puts the collar around his neck, fitting it snugly.]

Re: WEDNESDAY

[identity profile] eugene-watson.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
[Gene opens up his gift from Light and smirks to reveal the Swiss Army knife that he broke while trying to pick a lock when he first arrived.]

I keep forgetting to replace mine that broke. I should thank him for replacing it and I didn't have to ask.

Re: WEDNESDAY

[identity profile] pinnd-buttrfly.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[Soubi looks at it carefully.]

Did he break it?

Re: WEDNESDAY

[identity profile] eugene-watson.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
No. It's kinda weird and ironic that I would get a replacement from someone that I don't know.

[Gene gave an easy smile even though he was a little more than impressed that someone would give him a practical gift.]
