[The tree in the parlor is massive. Its prickly branches stretch outwards and are weighed down with bright ornaments; the star at the top nearly touches the ceiling. In the fireplace nearby, a fire crackles warm and orange. Outside the window, there is snow. It's a perfect Christmas scene. And on the rug, under the tree? Those are your presents.]

[It's snowing lightly. Those who are transported to the room today will hear a faint echo of "White Christmas" playing from an old radio near the tree.]

[Toothless, a.k.a so many other names that would make another's head spin, woke up in front of the fireplace with a start. Her head picked up and a soft, confused, but short rumble came through from her voice. She's inside? Since when? Then the tree......

Her eyes widened. Her nose twitched. Her square pupils dilated. She was in shiny heaven. Standing up slow, she moved around the tree....sniffing and nudging the ornaments with her nose. Since she couldn't read, she didn't realize that the presents under the tree were hers...]

[Is still in his sleep clothes when he steps out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth. Only, something wasn't right. It seems instead of stepping out into the hallway, he's in the parlor?]

What the...?

[He turns around to go back, but the bathroom door is gone. 'Ugh, what now?' The boy thinks woefully, but slowly relaxes as he takes in the warm surroundings. Once he's sure nothing is going to leap out at him he finally notices the tree and boxes. One of which wrapped in a style that reminded him of Yuiko. Actually, it was exactly like Yuiko's wrapping. He kneels down beside the gifts and reads the tags. Yuiko, Soubi, Kio, Natsuo, Oz...]

...Sebastian?

[He opens that one out of curiosity, then blushes faintly in embarrassment. He's sure it's the right Sebastian when he reads the book titles. Vampire novels... The next one to catch his attention is a small one with a tag that reads...]

[Okay, this one he opens very slowly while holding it away from his face. When the lid opens he hears the sound of a small bell ring. He then tips the gift box over and out falls a velvet red choker with a little gold bell.]

Uh,... thank you, Author-san...?

[Jack sees a bunch of colorfully wrapped parcels and decides to take a peek. Looking at the packages and taking a quick look once in a while at the tree, he grins and finally finds his that was addressed from the Author. With a deflated look, he tries to find others that were his but couldn't....perhaps they were hidden.

Finding his stocking, he snatches it off the hook and grins.]

Finally, someone recognizes me and my expertise with a very high standard of regards to my person.

[He opens up the package and finds another bottle of rum.]

Oh....

[He doesn't mind the rum but it's getting a little boring now.]

[The smell of gingerbread wafts from the kitchen today. Around the tree, an old rendition of Jingle Bells can be heard playing softly from an old radio.]

Lizzie isn't sure why she is at the tree before Christmas. Isn't she supposed to open her gifts then? She decides that it will be okay to look them over at lest. Going over the tree, she reads who they are all from. Ciel~ Sebastian... the Author? Hmm. A secret Santa too? ... She shakes the gift a little, trying to figure out what it might be.

[Gene entered the parlor and his eyes spotted the tree. It seemed much too large for to fit in the room but somehow physics didn't apply in this place. Finding his stocking, he looked inside and chuckled.]

I'm a bit old for Pez.

[extinguishing her cigarette on someone else's present Mamimi takes her seat under the tree. She picks up her present from the Author and gives it a good shake. It rattles strangely into her ear. She furrows her brow before spotting something much more intriguing under the tree. "To: Mamimi, from: Piccolo" Mamimi snatches up the parcel and opens it. She smiles broadly at the gi she finds wrapped inside. She begins to laugh and hugs the training outfit close, as if it was an old friend]

[Crona is trying to buy himself some private time. He doesn't want to be noticed opening his presents. As he slowly begins sifting through the mass of gifts under the tree Ragnarok clears his throat impatiently, still inside Crona's body]

[Claudia is staring down her presents as if trying to decide what exactly to open first. She looks almost giddy. She really shouldn't be over exerting but it's clear that she's already been outside from her very cold looking feet. She pushes her hair out of her eyes as she picks up the first box, this one from Kaito, and shakes it]

[Snape actually waited till Christmas Eve to open his presents, out of force of habit. Not that he was expecting anything. He didn't like anyone here, and he'd never been too fond of Christmas. Not really.

One package reads "To: Severus Snape. From: the Author." He opens it and finds a bottle of Herbal Essence shampoo.]

Ha ha.

[He tosses it aside.]

[Alessa is sitting by the window; she looks about 16, and "normal"/human-intact. The box and wrapping paper from the Author's gift are on the ground next to her, and she's watching a stained-glass music box, which's currently wound and running, although the tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SBY_fUpmnQ) probably won't be familiar to anyone...]

[John wasn't expecting much for Christmas. That's not his main concern. He was more concerned that Nice would like her gift than he cared to admit openly. He made New York a memorable place for himself and Nice both and without the bad memories of her past to haunt her, he marked a deep impression on her spirit that he hoped would remain for a long while to come. The one thing he wanted he couldn't have right now.

It was mostly up to fate, chance or whatever have you that made it easy or hard and depending on their given situation, he was prepared to keep Nice as happy as possible. He made her feel like a woman when others thought of her as a tool.

With his whiskey flask in hand, he watched outside the window at the icicles displaying and splashing colors around the window sill.]

[It's Christmas day! Everything in the room is warm and muted and peaceful, until the present opening begins. The sound of sleigh bells can be heard on the wind outside if one is quiet enough to hear it, though.]
